Expertise and achievements

I am an Industrial and website designer who has over three years experience developing and designing data-base driven, web-based products for small businesses and public institutions. In my current role as Web Interface Designer for a three-year federally funded transition project at the University of Kansas, I coordinate, develop and disseminate online courses, web-based resources and online professional development tools, including a professional development portfolio for users to track their progress and collect online resources. I am proficient with html, php, javascript, action script, online forms, Flash media, CSS, and the entire Adobe Creative Suite 2. In addition, I lead all user-testing initiatives to ensure that what is created meets the needs of the intended users.

Developed and implemented online delivery start-up company brand identity and online interactive experience. Company will launch in January of 2007.

Designed and executed a family of products including logo and stationary product design, web site development, and set up their current e-marketing system.

Remodeled Kansas City interior design and space planning firm’s online home spacesinc.com, and shifted the brand identity of the company based on a new direction the firm was taking.

Developed and remodeled special-ed resource site transitioncoalition.org using accessibility standards, and extensive user testing. Completed several individual graphic design projects.

Interests

Former High School All-American and member of the University of Kansas Men’s Swimming Team. (Men's program was dropped for budget reasons in 2001). Composed and Performed music in and around the Kansas City/Lawrence music scene. (Captain Overreact disbanded in 2004) I love music and listen to it almost every hour of every day.

Three Column CSS Layout with Liquid Center.
